The Municipality of Prishtina has organized an activity through which it has started cleaning the streets. For this he has contracted 6 companies.

This activity started today at 10:00 in the morning and will continue after the end of the citizens’ movement schedule, at 22:30, so that there are no traffic obstacles.

The maintenance manager of the city, Bujar Abazi told KosovaPress, that the Municipality of Prishtina has organized this activity due to numerous requests from citizens.

“The municipality has organized this type of activity due to numerous requests and the need to go out to clean the roads due to the winter season which is characterized by snow and rain and low temperatures. This type of activity in this season has been slightly postponed “Because of these conditions we mentioned. But today this activity has been done and I will continue ie in the late hours after the movement hours in order to have fewer traffic obstacles and in order to do the job well,” he said

According to him, street cleaning will take place throughout the summer season.

The Municipality of Prishtina has engaged six companies for street cleaning in the six parts of the city, an action that started today (Sunday) from 10:00.

The maintenance manager for the winter season, Bujar Abazi, told Ekonomia Online that this activity has started as a result of numerous requests from citizens in the capital.

“The Municipality of Prishtina has organized a street washing activity for the already hot season. The reason why we did it is due to the numerous requests of citizens and the need that has been created for street cleaning. The municipality has long planned to do this activity, but due to the atmospheric conditions that have prevailed so far and low temperatures, rain and snow, we often had to postpone it until the creation of conditions “, said Abazi .

“Six companies have been organized, in six parts of the city the streets of the city are being cleaned”, he added.

Abazi says that this action will continue in the coming days.

This action will continue until the following days in the evening schedule due to lower vehicle traffic.
