A vacationer drowned at noon today on the beach of Velipoja.

Klan News reports that the victim is 55-year-old Pjetër Gjorovia, from the village of Stajka.

So far it is learned that the death of the 55-year-old was caused by bad weather and the sea was rough.

There were three vacationers in danger of drowning, but only the 55-year-old could not escape. The other two citizens were rescued by the coast guard and the medical staff of the health center.
