Israel’s defense forces said in a statement posted on Twitter that they had increased readiness for various scenarios and that they would continue to target “Hamas’ terrorist targets in Gaza.”

The media in Gaza report that Israeli planes bombed several targets in that territory.

The targets, they said, were civilian buildings and apartments, sites and agricultural land.

On Wednesday, the Israeli army launched air strikes on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip. That was response to flammable balloons fired from that Palestinian territory that caused fires in Israeli fields.

This interrupted the truce reached on May 21.
