French President Emmanuel Macron today urged the United States to lift all restrictions on the export of vaccines and components of COVID-19 vaccines.

“I urge the United States to end all export restrictions, not only on vaccines but also on the components of these vaccines that inhibit production,” Macron said.

“The key to producing vaccines for poor and intermediate countries as soon as possible is to produce a lot, to lift export bans,” he told a news conference at the EU social summit in Porto.
