Two twin sisters Melissa and Georgia Laurie experienced a real horror in a Mexican lagoon while touring by boat. While they were swimming, Melissa was attacked by a crocodile while her sister fought heroically to save her twin from the reptile’s mouth. Georgia punched the crocodile repeatedly in the head before pulling her sister by the hair.

After the attack, Melissa fell into a coma but managed to wake up again while Georgia suffered some injuries mainly to the arm.

After the tragic event, their relatives set up a fundraising site for the twins’ parents to go to Mexico to be with them.

The two 28-year-old sisters had traveled the world together since March and would arrive home in a few weeks./a2news
