The President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Berat Rukiqi said that in a meeting with officials from the Government, they warned them about what could happen if there is a partial closure in Kosovo, while in the region, especially in Albania there are more relaxed measures.

Rukiqi wrote on Facebook that Kosovo is very much connected with the economies of the region.

“Skopje is only 1 hour away from Prishtina, Durrës / Tirana no more than 3 hours. Any decision taken on any issue, not just COVID, should take this correlation into account. “We have learned a lot for 1 year dealing with the pandemic, so we need rational decisions that produce an effect on pandemic management and do not harm the economy,” he wrote.
