Bodo Weber, a senior fellow at the Council for Democratization Policy in Berlin, said that the Brussels dialogue started well in 2011, but in recent years it has turned in the opposite direction.

Weber said the meetings are no longer historic and progress is lacking.

“Serbia received the opening of pre-accession negotiations, Kosovo the Association Agreement with the European Union, but the road to EU integration is blocked. “It has become normal for the officials of the two countries to meet regularly and that it is no longer ‘historic'”, he said, Gazeta Express reports.

Weber adds that “The same story is with the so-called integration of Kosovo Serbs.”

“If we look at it superficially, then if Serbia won more and Kosovo a little less, Kosovo Serbs are still the biggest collateral damage of the crisis in the dialogue,” he said.
