The legendary Amancio Amaro, the scorer within the KESH last of Actual Madrid-Partizan, has handed away

Amancio played for Deportivo from La Coruña from 1958 to 1962 and then played for Real until 1976.

“Real, the president and the management of the club deeply regret the departure of Amancio Amaro, the honorary president of Real, one of the great legends of our club and world football,” according to the statement of the Madrid club.

Amancio played for Real for 14 seasons and played 471 matches and scored 155 goals. With the Madrid club, he won nine Spanish league titles and three King’s Cups.

Amancio won the Champions Cup with Real in 1966, after the Madrid club beat Partizan 2:1 in the final in Brussels. He was the scorer of the equalizing goal for Real in the 70th minute.

He played 42 matches for the Spanish national team and was the top scorer 11 times, and won the European Championship in 1964 with the national team.
