A serious rail accident has been recorded in Mexico City, where an Aerotrén subway bridge collapsed while a passenger train was passing over it.

As a result of the accident at least 15 people lost their lives and 70 others were injured while search and rescue teams continue to work to survive.

The accident happened very close to the Olivo station, on the metro line no.12 of the Mexican capital. The reasons are still unclear and an investigation has been launched to find out the responsibilities./a2cnn
