LDK: Dialogue to be taken with greater commitment, US role to be stronger

The member of the leadership of LDK, Teuta Sahatqja has announced the positions that LDK has regarding the current topics in the country.

In a press conference, Sahatqja stressed that the LDK thinks that the dialogue should be handled with greater commitment.

“LDK thinks that the dialogue should be handled with greater commitment. “The LDK will play its constructive role as an active part of the Assembly of Kosovo, as determined by the Constitutional Court, as determined by all resolutions issued,” she said.

She also said that in order for Kosovo to come out as well as possible at the end of the dialogue, the Government must have the basic principles on which the dialogue will be built. According to her, the role of the US should be stronger.

“The government should at least have the basic principles on which the continuation of this dialogue will be built. We think that the serious and substantial preparation should be part of the preparations and part of the compilation of a proper platform for Kosovo, in order to come out as well as possible at the end of this dialogue. The role of the US needs to be stronger. “We believe that the United States must continue to strengthen its role until the successful conclusion of the dialogue,” Sahatqu said.

Regarding the “non-papers” documents that are circulating recently, the member of the LDK leadership said that they should be strongly opposed, as they are documents that fundamentally endanger the constitutionality and statehood of Kosovo.

“As for non-papers, in the LDK we think that these non-papers that are circulating recently are documents that should be strongly opposed, are documents which in essence endanger the constitutionality and statehood of Kosovo and as such do not “Kosovo must be silent but strongly opposed. Kosovo is an independent state, the status is not discussed, they are out of any principle, it is not allowed by the Constitution”, she said.

Sahatqiu also said that the LDK expects Prime Minister Kurti to be more transparent regarding the dialogue with Serbia.

“Regarding the approach of Prime Minister Kurti to the dialogue, we reiterate that transparency should be basic and Kurti should report regularly before going to visit and after returning to report to the Assembly and answer questions from MPs,” she said. .

The member of the LDK leadership also once again stressed that they expect the institutions to come out as strongly as possible against “non-paper” documents and not to choose silence as an answer. / Voice
