It’s Stojkovic yesterday announced the list of 36 players for the qualifications for the EP. On March 24, the Serbian football players meet Lithuania in Belgrade, while three days later they play against Montenegro in Podgorica. There is not a single football player from Partizan on the list of Serbian coaches.
“Of course, I am unpleasantly surprised. There were no Partizan players even in the previous period, when we had good results. Again, on the one hand I am surprised, on the other – I am not. Those who understand will understand. I am one of those who believe in these players , that’s how it was, now it is and it will be. With all that, I wish the coach good luck in the next qualifiers for the European Championship,” said Kralj for “Sportski Journal”.
Partizan players were not in the national team of Serbia even in the friendly match with the USA selection.
“Let me not get into that… No others went either, so they are here! I have said enough… I wouldn’t want to comment on others,” said Kralj and repeated that Partizan did not have national team members even when the club from Humska was in form.
