A high temperature contrast is also expected on Tuesday, from only about 1 degree in the extreme northwest to about 19 in the extreme southeast. A few days after April 16, model calculations simulate the development of a strong anticyclone in the area from Scandinavia, through Western Europe and Great Britain all the way to the Southwest Atlantic. In that position, the anticyclone would continue to transport relatively cold air to our part of Europe on its eastern periphery, while a vast field of reduced air pressure would be maintained over the wider Mediterranean area.

This would be a very ordinary synoptics, typical “winter” for our regions, and once again the situation where our part of Europe has the “wrong” time synoptics is repeated, and instead of having such situations in the winter, we have them in the spring.

All this means that relatively cold weather remains above us until further notice, with occasional rain and showers, while the mountainous parts will still have occasional snow, especially over 900 meters above sea level, where the snow cover will continue to increase.

During the next week, as Đurić says, elevated temperatures are expected, but it will not last long, and due to the cyclone from the Adriatic, there will be showers with thunder on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Wednesday, noticeably colder weather awaits us, where the temperature will be up to ten degrees lower, and with the rain, a temperature of 8 to 15 degrees awaits us.

Professor and lover of meteorology, Marko Čubrilo, also announced that warm weather awaits us from Sunday, with a temporary spring deterioration around April 13.

– Next week, spring weather will bring maximum temperatures from 16 to 21, sometimes around 24. Worsening on April 13 will bring rain and thunder showers, and after April 15 we will enter the real spring regime, which is something that the long-term prognostic material indicated. – says Čubrilo.
