EMA: Gjithsej 244.807 raste të efekteve anësore të Pfizer

The latest data from the European Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine safety database show that since July 29, when about 330 million doses were given, European countries have reported a total of 244,807 cases of side effects to the European Medical Agency ( EMA).

The report says 4,198 of them reported a fatal outcome, although it remains “unclear if the vaccine is the cause,” the Guardian reported.

Healthcare professionals and vaccinated persons are encouraged to report to the competent government authorities any suspicion of side effects after receiving the vaccine, even when it is not clear whether the vaccine is the cause of these side effects.

The fact that someone had a health problem or died after vaccination does not mean that it was caused by vaccination.

It can also be caused by health problems not related to vaccination.

EMA relies on healthcare professionals and patients to report their experience with vaccines and possible side effects.

Meanwhile, the latest report on the AstraZeneca vaccine shows that since July 4, after about 58 million doses have been given, a total of 152,250 cases of side effects have been reported from European countries, of which 938 are fatal.

With the same warnings and emphasizing that these are spontaneous reports, EMA said that since July 4, after giving about 35 million doses of Moderna vaccine, a total of 36,294 cases of side effects have been reported by European countries, with 347 of them reporting deadly results.

Effects of blue light: Why you should not use your phone at bedtime

Creating good habits (disciplines) not only helps you in every aspect of your life and career as a student, or professional. At the same time, the use of technological equipment in daily life and work is also a great help.

But, the time you spend as well as the ways of using technological equipment are not without impact! Especially if you begin to understand the negative impacts that bad habits and ways of using can have on your life.

Conclusions of Dr. Dan Siegel, professor of clinical psychiatry at the School of Medicine at UCLA (USA), shows how the misuse of electronic devices with screens (cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) negatively affect the biological processes associated with sleep, as well as our own mental and physical well-being.

According to him, light reflected from electronic devices, such as mobile phones, before going to sleep creates the opposite effect of sleep. Screen light stimulates your brain to stay awake beyond the time or place you would normally sleep, thereby directly reducing the hours needed for sleep.

Most people need to sleep 7 to 9 hours a day to recover energy and regenerate biological processes in your brain and body. But using the screen before going to bed makes you not feel sleepy right away and consequently not getting enough.

Dr. Siegel explains that the negative effects of sleep deprivation are felt immediately after you: you have less energy to cope with the day, your concentration drops, memory does not function properly, the brain’s analytical ability is reduced,

insulin levels, which regulate metabolism, are disrupted by prompting you to eat more and / or gain weight, as well as increasing the level of toxins in your brain cells, etc.

Consequently, Dr. Siegel strongly advises discontinuing the use of screens at least one hour before bedtime. According to him, the use of the screen is a situation with very serious negative effects, but that remains something that we can change by deciding to keep the screens off at night and thus giving sleep the necessary priority!

Mixing COVID-19 vaccines can cause mild side effects

Adults are more likely to report mild side effects after mixing doses of coronavirus vaccines from AstraZeneca and Pfizer, according to a study by the Vaccine Group at Oxford University.

Fever, headache and muscle aches are most often reported when different vaccines are combined.

Severe reactions have been very brief.

“The findings are intriguing, not something we’ve been waiting for,” said Professor Matthew Snape of the Vaccine Group.

The study was launched in February to see if the second dose, taken from a manufacturer other than the first, could provide long-term immunity, better protection against newer variants, or only allow clinics to continue the vaccination process without hindrance.

The Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec have said they plan to mix vaccine doses in the future, following growing uncertainty about the availability of AstraZeneca vaccines and concerns about rare blood clots.

The study, conducted by Oxford University, recruited 850 volunteers over the age of 50.

The first results are expected to be published in June.

Preliminary data were published in a research paper in the scientific journal Lancet./rel
