New York City will require proof of coronavirus vaccination to gain access to domestic activities, becoming the first major city in the United States to introduce a vaccine passport.

The new request, made public by Mayor Bill de Blasio on August 3, will affect people’s access to the interiors of restaurants, cafes, or even the entrance to gyms.

“The only way to gain access to these activities inside is if you are vaccinated,” de Blasio said.

“If you are vaccinated … you have the key to open the door. “But if you are not vaccinated, unfortunately you will not be able to participate in many things,” he said.

This policy will be implemented in several phases in August and September.

About 66 percent of adults in New York City are fully vaccinated.

The announcement comes as health officials in the United States are urging people to get vaccinated and put the mask back on indoors, due to the spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus.

Florida is the epicenter of the virus in the United States, with 11,515 people hospitalized Aug. 3.

The number of patients has increased 11 times compared to the mid-June period. / REL

He said that he is an apartheid, but evidence emerges when Përparim Rama supported Albin Kurti

He said that he is an apartment man, but it does not turn out to be so. Even the LDK candidate for Prishtina, Përparim Rama, does not appear to be a supporter of the party with which he competes.

Përparim Rama, the LDK candidate for mayor of the capital, seems to be a voter and supporter of Vetëvendosje.

A little more detailed research of his Facebook profile is enough to see that in the past he openly supported Albin Kurti and Vetëvendosje.

In 2014, he shared on his Facebook profile a spot by Albin Kurti where he talked about the arrival of the diaspora to vote in Kosovo.

Apart from voting for VV, Rama traveled from London to Pristina.

This can be seen in a description of a photo posted by the former VV MP, Fisnik Ismajli in 2013.

While publishing photos with Përparim Rama, he wrote that the latter came from London to vote.

“He lives in London.

Last night he won the World Interiors News Award for the design of the Hamam Bar in Prishtina, last night he was at the Hamam Bar, because he came to Prishtina especially to vote.

Respect, Përparim Rama “, wrote Ismaili on Facebook.

WHO: There is no evidence of problems from AstraZeneca

The World Health Organization said there was no evidence that the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine causes blood clots.

The WHO said Monday it was reviewing reports that the vaccine had caused such problems in some people who received it.

Some European countries have suspended its use, as dozens of vaccinated people have reported problems with blood clots.

About 17 million people in the European Union and the UK have received the vaccine, while less than 40 cases of blood clots have been reported since last week, AstraZeneca said.

WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier said the organization would analyze the incidents and that the findings would be communicated to the public immediately.

“Today, there is no evidence that the incidents were caused by the vaccine, and it is important that vaccination campaigns continue so that we can save lives from the virus,” Lindmeier said.

The European Medicines Agency, which is also reviewing blood clotting incidents, has said the vaccine could continue to be administered.

According to the agency, “the benefits of the vaccine continue to outweigh its risks.”

AstraZeneca has said that the safety of the drug has been extensively studied during clinical trials.
