Serbs describe the signing of the EU-brokered agreement as high treason, while the Kosovars describe it as a betrayal of the interests of the Kosovar Albanians.

Serbs from northern Kosovo have rejected an agreement brokered by the European Union signed between the governments of Serbia and its breakaway territory, Kosovo, to normalize relations.

Some have even called the agreement treason and threatened protests on Sunday and Monday.

Hashim Thaci, the Kosovar prime minister, is also grappling with similar opposition. Many describe his signing of the agreement as a betrayal of the interests of the Kosovar Albanians.

This was announced by the official authorities of India, while rescuers used their hands to dig the ground and find bodies, writes Reuters.

Within the last 24 hours authorities have so far reported 11 incidents of collapsing houses or walls in the Mumbai area.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a post consoled the relatives of the victims while offering help to all those affected by this disaster.

Several areas in the city were flooded after heavy rains over the past 24 hours and suburban train services were disrupted, thus undermining India’s main funding.

AstraZeneca is trying to deliver only 40 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the European Union by the end of March.

That’s less than half the amount she promised in her contract for the first quarter of the year, AstraZeneca chief executive Pascal Soriot told European lawmakers on Thursday.

Earlier this company had promised to offer about 90 million doses in the first quarter of this year.

The EU, which lags far behind the United States and the United Kingdom in vaccinating citizens, has repeatedly urged AstraZeneca to offer more doses of the vaccine.

“We are doing everything we can to give it 40 million doses in the first quarter of 2021,” said AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot.

Sortiot did not provide any information regarding the supply of vaccines in the second quarter of 2021.

Under the contract, until this stage of the year, the company is obliged to offer about 180 million doses of the vaccine./ rel
