Former NATO General Wesley Clark is staying in Kosovo today where he will meet with heads of state.

Clarku was initially received by the Minister of Defense Armedn Mehaj, who in a press conference stressed that the former general has a key role in the creation of Kosovo.

General Clark has a key and decisive role in the creation of Kosovo and our freedom, the freedom of the nation, the freedom of Kosovo. I informed General Clark about the achievements of Kosovo and the KSF. How the KSF has made great achievements and is developing into a modern and interactive force with other forces of NATO countries. “The KSF has the primary goal of integrating into NATO and sending it abroad in defense of world peace and security”, said Mehaj.

Mehaj also announced that in honor of Clark I will name the most prestigious school of the KSF.

Today, among the historical generals, I will name our school of officers, the most prestigious school of the KSF, the Center for University Studies, named after Wesley Clark. This is the least we can do for a hero like General Wesley Clark. “General Clark is a high and precious personality in the history of Kosovo and will remain so in the minds of entire generations”, said Mehaj.

On the other hand, during his speech, General Clark said that he is very impressed with the progress that Kosovo has achieved over the years.

“I am honored to be here, I am happy to return to Kosovo. This is the first chance I had to visit the Ministry. I am very impressed. Over the years, I have watched Kosovo progress “

“I am just happy to be back here. “I feel very honored to be welcomed and I am looking forward to meeting the Government, congratulating you on this new Government and their new responsibilities”, added Clarku.

Clarku will also meet with President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Gërvalla-Schëarz and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca. / Voice

Grenelli Ischingerit: I am happy to compare our progress with yours when you want

Former US President Richard Grenell’s former envoy to Kosovo-Serbia dialogue reacts to former German diplomat Wolfgang Ischinger after the latter told Grenell that his term had expired, advising him to leave Kosovo to its people.

Through a Twitter post, Grenelli accuses Ischinger of telling him that he has given the Iranians and Russians a platform they do not deserve.

“Wolfgang, you live by giving foreign policy advice. You have given the Iranians and Russians a platform they do not deserve,” he wrote.

Grenelli also addresses Ischinger by telling him not to shut up “homosexuals”, adding that he is willing to compare his progress with that of the former German diplomat.

“Do not silence homosexuals from participating in something you do freely. It is homophobic. I am also happy to compare our progress with yours whenever you want,” Grenelli said.

On Thursday, the third conference on the progress of the court case against Thaçi and others

On Thursday, the third conference on the progress of the court case against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi will be held in The Hague.

The conference in question is expected to start at 11:00, and, as stated on the official website of DHSK, unless otherwise specified, public hearings are broadcast via the Internet with a delay of 45 minutes.

The conference on the progress of the court case is provided by Rule 96 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo (DHSK), reports “Oath of Justice”.

“(1) The pre-trial judge shall convene a conference on the progress of the case as soon as possible after the first appearance of the accused and then if necessary to: (a) organize exchanges between the parties and, where applicable, victim advocates to enable prompt preparation for trial; (b) taking steps to enable any necessary preparation by the parties diligently and in a timely manner; and (c) reviewing the progress of the case and that the parties, and where applicable the victims’ counsel, be given the opportunity to raise issues related to the case, ”reads the first point of the above-mentioned rule.

(2) With the written consent of the accused given after consultation with his specialized defense counsel, a conference on the progress of the case under this rule may be held: (a) in the presence of the accused and with the participation of counsel specialized through videoconferencing; (b) in the presence of a specialized defense counsel and with the participation of the accused via videoconference; and (c) in the absence of the accused in the presence of a specialized defense counsel, or with the participation of a specialized defense counsel via videoconference ”, is further stated in the second point of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of DHSK.

The first conference on the progress of the case was held on November 18.

Otherwise, on November 9, in their first appearances, Jakup Krasniqi and Hashim Thaçi pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

The same was stated by Veseli in his presentation on November 10, as well as Selimi on November 11.

The indictment against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi was confirmed on October 26, 2020.

According to the indictment, at least between March 1998 and September 1999, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi, Jakup Krasniqi and other members of the Joint Criminal Enterprise had the common goal of securing and exercising control over all of Kosovo through methods that included intimidation, ill-treatment, violence, and the illegal elimination of those considered adversaries.

“These opponents included persons who were, or were considered to have been: (a) collaborators or affiliates of forces, officials or state institutions of the FRY, or who (b) otherwise did not support the aims or methods of the KLA and later the KPC, including persons affiliated with the LDK and Serbs, Roma and persons of other nationalities (collectively, ‘opponents’). “This common goal included the crimes of persecution, imprisonment, arrest and arbitrary or unlawful detention, other inhumane acts, cruel treatment, torture, murder and enforced disappearance of persons,” the indictment reads.

The indictment also mentions Azem Syla, Lahi Brahimaj, Fatmir Limaj, Sylejman Selimi, Rrustem Mustafa, Shukri Buja, Latif Gashi and Sabit Geci.

Among the other members of the joint criminal enterprise were Azem SYLA, Lahi BRAHIMAJ, Fatmir LIMAJ, Sylejman SELIMI, Rrustem MUSTAFA, Shukri BUJA, Latif GASHI and Sabit GECI, as well as several other political and military leaders of the KLA and QP including other members of the General Staff; KPC ministers and deputy ministers; KLA zone commanders, deputy zone commanders and other members of zone command staffs; commanders of brigades and units; commanders and members of the KLA and KPC police and intelligence services; other KLA soldiers and other KPC officials; as well as others acting on behalf of the KLA and the KPC (along with Hashim THAÇI, Kadri VESELI, Rexhep SELIMI and Jakup KRASNIQ, jointly ‘members of the NKP’). All of these individuals, through their actions and inactions, contributed to the achievement of the common goal. Alternatively, some or all of these individuals were not members of the joint criminal enterprise, but were used by members of the joint criminal enterprise to commit crimes for the common purpose (together with members of the CPC, jointly ‘ members and instruments of the NPC ‘) “, says the indictment. / Oath of Justice
