As a result of strong winds this morning, the branch of an oak tree in the center of Prishtina was broken.

But immediate was the reaction of the defense and rescue team, who removed the oak branch, to free the circulation for citizens.

This was announced by the director of Public Services, Protection and Rescue in the Municipality of Prishtina.

“As a result of the morning wind, the branch of an oak in the center of the city was broken. As soon as we received the information, the protection and rescue team intervened and then the road maintenance teams. “The situation has returned to normal within a short time,” she wrote.

At least a third of trees of various species worldwide are in danger of extinction, according to a study.

This five-year study by the Botanical Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) on 60,000 tree species found that 30% of them (17,500) are in imminent danger of extinction.

This danger includes the Menai tree, found only in North Wales, of which 30 wild trees remain. At least 142 such trees have so far been recorded as extinct.

According to the study, which was compiled by more than 60 institutional partners such as botanical gardens, forestry institutions, universities and over 500 experts, 58% of native European trees are threatened with extinction. Whitebeams and Rowan are the most endangered trees in the region.

However, the country with the largest number of endangered trees is Brazil. The Latin American nation numbers 8,847 tree species, the highest number in the world, but about one-fifth (1,788) are endangered.

Indonesia and Malaysia are both among the top 5 biodiversity countries in the world with 5,716 and 5,422 tree species respectively. Nearly 25% of them are threatened.

The study says climate change is the main problem. Changes in temperature and weather mean that many trees endanger suitable habitats to grow. At least 180 species of trees are directly threatened by rising sea levels and severe climate events.

The loss of trees is considered worrying above all by the essential role that forests play in the world ecosystem. They provide habitat and food for millions of species, including animals, plants and microorganisms.

– Was it a coincidence or not, but I came here with friends. I sat for about half an hour under the bush and really felt a strange energy. I had huge migraines until then, but they stopped me suddenly and I don’t remember when I took the medicine for my head. My housemates told me it was probably a coincidence, but I somehow believe that oak is really miraculous – said Rade Janković from Čačak.

Although many are skeptical of any mention of inexplicable forces, this has not prevented hundreds of people from coming to this oak and hoping that it really has power. However, these assumptions have been proven in theory as well, because some experts have noticed positive energy radiation in this village after the research.

That the belief in the power of trees is nothing unusual is also confirmed by the ethnologist, Snezana Ashanin, who says that the oak in Tijan is known as a place from which a special, positive energy spreads, and that these beliefs go far into the past.

The oak is considered a happy tree, and its age and health suggest to people that this energy from the earth can be transferred to them and give them strength. Once upon a time, people treated an old tree like a temple and believed that it could help them solve problems. – Snezana Ashanin pointed out and added that everything is a matter of free choice.

– The people have the right to believe or not to believe, but some energy exists, which can be proven by the natural sciences – said Ashanin.

Locals say that visitors from all parts of Serbia, but also from the region, visit this area, and that the visit is greatest during the summer and on weekends, when they are literally waiting in line to reach the bush and wait for eventual salvation. A 44-year-old Albanian died today in Italy. The gruesome event took place in Pescolanciano, municipality in Isernia in the Molise region.
