Belgium will donate 4 million doses of anti-COVID vaccine by the end of 2021.
This was announced in an announcement by the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which states that these vaccines will be donated to third countries, through the COVAX program, Zeri.info reports.
The beneficiary of these vaccines will be Kosovo, in a group with Armenia and Georgia, where for the three countries it is planned to distribute 225 thousand 600 vaccines in total.
“Initially, 168,000 doses of Astra Zeneca vaccines will be delivered to Ukraine, followed by 225,600 doses planned for Kosovo, Armenia and Georgia,” the statement said.
“This donation is an example of our European cooperation to defeat this pandemic and to accelerate global vaccination,” said the Minister for Development Cooperation and Metropolitan Policy, Meryame Kitir. / Voice
