The representative of Kosovo has scored the first victory within the qualifications for the World Championship “Qatar 2022”, writes Zeri.info.
In the third match in Group B, Bernard Challandes’ team scored a victory on the trip to Georgia.
The match held tonight in “Batumi Arena” has ended with the result 0-1.
“Dardanët” took the lead in the 18th minute, when Davit Khocholava scored an own goal, after deflecting a header by Vedat Muriqi. And, Kosovo maintained this advantage until the end of the match.
Kosovo now has three points and ranks third in the group, while Georgia remains with one point and ranks last (fifth).
It is worth noting that this was the first victory in history for Kosovo in the framework of qualifications for a World Cup.
“Dardanët” will play the next match on Sunday (September 5) against Greece in “Fadil Vokrri”. /Zeri.info
