The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani said that they are proud to be standing by their partners in sheltering citizens who have fled Afghanistan.
She made these comments tonight at a press conference after the arrival of the first group of 111 Afghans at the “Adem Jashari” Airport in Pristina.
Osmani: We have opened our doors and hearts to Afghan refugees
“Today we showed in front of all of them that we have opened not only the doors, but also our hearts because as people who were victims of a genocidal power. We understand very well what it means to be forced to leave your home, so we are proud to stand by our partners and contribute to the efforts of all these partners from the United States to the last NATO state, in “so that this human tragedy is reduced and that those who come here in Kosovo feel that they are finally safe”, said Osmani./RTK
