NEW MEASURES IN KRAGUJEVAC BECAUSE OF THE CROWN! They haven't even reached the peak of the pandemic, and all nine high schools are moving to online classes!

– Within the fourth wave, from August 1, we have a constant increase in the number of patients on a daily basis, which indicates the severity and severity of the epidemic – said Predrag Delic from the Institute of Public Health.

– We have not reached the peak, but we are in the ascending part of the pandemic curve. At the moment we have 204 students positive for coronavirus in primary schools and 194 in secondary schools – Delic pointed out.

Having in mind the constant increase in the number of examinations and new patients on a daily basis, by the decision of the Emergency Situations Headquarters, the second Kovid respiratory clinic within the Institute for Health Protection of Zastava Workers will be put into operation again on Monday, September 13.

This was announced today at a press conference held after the session of the Headquarters.

Such a decision was made not only because of the overload of the kovid ambulance number 1, where the number of examinations is over 700 on a daily basis, but also because of the accessibility, ie shortening the length of waiting for an examination.

Another measure that will come into force, also from Monday, September 13, is rigorous control of the application of anti-epidemic measures.

– We didn’t win the crown – said Gordana Damnjanovic, a member of the City Council for Health and Social Welfare in charge of implementing anti-epidemic measures, and added that every third person examined was positive among the adult population, as well as every other child.

– 140 patients were hospitalized at the University Clinical Center, 10 of whom are on a respirator. The only way out is vaccination, which must be faster and more comprehensive. The first dose was received by 78,000 fellow citizens, 75,000 were completely immunized, and the third dose was received by 10,000 citizens of Kragujevac, which is not enough to achieve complete immunity – says Damnjanovic.

– At this moment, we are in the temperate zone, so for a start we are starting with rigorous control of the application of anti-epidemic measures, which have not been abolished by the Republic Crisis Staff at any time – said Gordana Damnjanovic.

All available capacities participate in the control of the application of anti-epidemic measures – 18 communal militiamen, eight communal inspectors, five inspectors for traffic and roads, three tourist inspectors and one traffic inspector.

Catering facilities, rental halls, outdoor and indoor gatherings, markets, public city and taxi transport, large shopping malls and retail chains, shops and service activities are controlled.

Working hours are organized in three shifts from 7 am to 4 am the next day.

According to Miroslava Petrović from the City Administration for Inspection Affairs and Communal Militia, from September 2 last year until today, 35,000 inspections have been performed and 190 measures have been imposed on violators.

WILL THE CLASSES CLOSE AGAIN? These are the conditions under which we can spend the summer!

Many countries in the region, even those that are our tourists’ favorite tourist destinations, are tightening their measures due to the growing number of people infected with the coronavirus!

In Montenegro, the operation of nightclubs and discos in the open and indoors is prohibited, the national digital kovid certificate is introduced, and new measures are introduced in Croatia and Greece.

Interim measures

This tightening of measures has worried many citizens of Serbia who have not yet traveled to the sea, and they hope that they will be able to take a bath by the end of the season. However, the regulations will not significantly affect the summer vacation of our tourists, believes Aleksandar Seničić, director of the National Association of Travel Agencies (Utah).

– The measures that were adopted in Montenegro are temporary and were adopted because the epidemiological situation has worsened. However, the fact that the work of clubs and discos is banned does not mean that tourists will not be able to enjoy the sea – Senicic explains and adds that everywhere in Europe, the goal is not to close countries, but to motivate people to get vaccinated.

Vaccination important

In the countries that are our favorite tourists – Greece, Turkey and Egypt, as Senicic says, no new measures have been introduced.

– In Greece, the owners of discos, restaurants and bars have actually been given the opportunity to decide for themselves whether to receive tourists indoors. There is a distance on the beach, hygiene and disinfection are taken care of. To ride the ferry, there is an obligation to have a PCR or a quick antigen test, ie confirmation that the passengers have been infected with coronavirus. However, they also need to enter Greece, so this ban applies primarily to those who are located in the continental part of Greece and want to take a ferry, visit the islands and return after a few days. That is still a very small percentage. Ferries are an expensive way to visit the island – Senicic points out and adds that those who have been vaccinated have no problem.

Senicic also believes that there will be no closures in these three countries until the end of the season, which in Greece usually lasts until the second half of September, in Turkey until October, and in Egypt until the end of November.

Let us remind you, the work of night clubs will be banned in Montenegro until August 2, and the national digital kovid certificate will be introduced from Friday. This certificate, modeled on the EU’s digital covid certificate, will contain information that the person has been fully vaccinated or received the first dose of the vaccine, as well as the date and time of a negative coronavirus PCR test, not older than 72 hours or proof that the person has survived kovid 19.

In Croatia, primarily on the stretch of Dalmatia, a ban on all public events and gatherings attended by more than 50 people was introduced yesterday, unless they have a certificate. In Greece, cafes work with 85 percent occupancy, and in Turkey and Egypt, each hotel prescribes measures, and somewhere at the entrance to the hotel, the temperature is measured.

“Slight increase of infected people in schools” Ruzic on the RED LINE for the transition to online classes

Minister of Education Branko Ruzic says for RTS that it is very important to preserve the educational system. He emphasized that schools have proven to be the safest place, as well as that in some districts, the coronavirus has not entered schools at all. “So there is no reason to panic or to switch to online classes,” Ruzic said, adding that the situation was being monitored.

Branko Ruzic, as a guest in the RTS morning news, stated that educational institutions bore a huge burden, primarily educators, and that it is important to ensure that the process of acquiring knowledge functions in this way for as long as possible.

“We have a slight increase in infections”

“We have a slight increase in the number of infected people, but when we look at the statistics and the fact that we have 250,000 children in kindergartens, about 530,000 in primary schools, about 250,000 in secondary schools and 250,000 in colleges. That’s some million and 250,000 children we all care about the fear is legitimate and justified, but it should not be politicized and panicked, “Ruzic said.

He emphasized that schools have proven to be the safest place, because it has been shown that the process of transmission of the virus itself does not take place in them, but that the virus comes from outside.

“These measures that the Government adopted at the session yesterday, which are more restrictive, we hope will reduce the tone of the virus in the next 15 days, until December 1,” Ruzic said.

As for the specific numbers of infected students, he says that “Trampoline” has detailed data, but that in primary schools that percentage is somewhere around 0.1 percent at the level of the whole of Serbia.

Neither for panic, nor a reason for online teaching

“We have a situation where in some districts the coronavirus has not entered schools at all. So there is no reason to panic or to switch to online classes,” the minister points out.

He emphasized that from the beginning, there is a possibility for parents who want to decide to follow their children online.

“So far, that percentage in the beginning was some 4 percent, in September 2.7 percent, now when it started a slight growth, it is now 3.3 percent, but that only shows that parents have a lot of trust in the education system,” he added. is Ruzic.

What a red line

When asked what the red line is when they will have to switch to online classes, Ruzic says that there are clear protocols and regulations that are being taken.

“What is important is that the health part of the Crisis Staff will always be in charge of proposing those measures. For now, there is really no reason for that,” Ruzic points out.

He stated that the situation should be monitored and that a reaction should be made as soon as cases of infection appear.

He pointed out that there is a slight increase in the number of infected people among the teaching staff, and that this data will also affect the proposal of new measures.

“If there is a great growth in the ranks of educators, it will be a problem to organize the process of acquiring knowledge,” said Ruzic.

When asked if enough online classes were recorded, the minister said that they were always recorded three weeks in advance.

“We owe gratitude to our school administrations, now we follow the classes they recorded in the school administration in Valjevo, so for three weeks another school administration changes. I think they are very dedicated to their work despite what they do in their schools. Great. “Trug, great work and great dedication of those educators, and we must be grateful to them,” Ruzic said.

He pointed out that it is important for parents to be careful and cautious in order to prevent “the crown from entering the education system through the big door”.

“I think that these measures from yesterday are, in a way, both a signal and an alarm for all of us adults to take into account how we behave and whether we respect the measures,” Ruzic believes.

He emphasized that the law that was passed is very important, because it will have a preventive effect on people’s consciousness.

“I am sure that 80, 90 percent of citizens respect the measures, but because of the minority that shows a high degree of irresponsibility, unfortunately we come to a situation where there is more infection,” Ruzic concluded.
