We are today in a location in Prishtina, where behind me here is an ugly dump of illegal waste which has been created in the absence of a suitable municipal infrastructure for their collection.

This landfill, which unfortunately is not the only one in Prishtina, aggravates and endangers the lives of the citizens of Prishtina every day, throughout the year.

In addition to environmental pollution, these landfills also make a large collection of stray dogs, which are a daily danger of ours.

Cleanliness and hygiene, or lack thereof, reflect the culture of the city and the way of life of the Prishtina people. I strongly believe that municipal leadership should play a leading role in securing it.

Therefore, it has been very important for me that in the plan for Prishtina the cleaning of the city within the first year of government and the adjustment of the infrastructure is a priority for a Green Prishtina.

What are we going to do?

• We will regulate and organize the collection of waste generated by all businesses in Prishtina.
