Authorities in Haiti have declared a state of emergency in the country following the assassination of President Jovenel Moise.

Gunmen stormed the head of state’s private residence in the early hours of the morning, killing him and seriously injuring the First Lady.

The perpetrators of this serious event have not yet been identified, while the authorities call for calm.

In an earlier press release the prime minister indicated that some of the perpetrators of this horrific attack spoke Spanish, throwing out the idea that the aggressors are a group of paid mercenaries.

Jovenel Moise, 53, took over as president of Haiti in February 2017. Since then he has faced ongoing allegations of corruption and ongoing protests demanding his resignation.

Joseph Biden also ordered the sending of federal aid to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

“The president has authorized the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), to coordinate all efforts to assist,” the White House said in a statement.

Twelve-storey a building near Miami, Florida, partially collapsed yesterday, and hundreds of firefighters and rescuers are still at the scene of the accident, as it is feared that a large number of people were in the building at the time of the demolition.

It is unknown at this time what caused the building to collapse.

The twelve-storey building was built in 1981 and has 130 apartments.

The member of the Assembly of Kosovo from the ranks of PDK, Blerta Deliu-Kodra said that the Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared the White House hostile.

This is because according to Deliu-Kodra, Kurti has disputed the legal validity of the agreement and the legitimacy of the signature of the President of the United States of America.

“Prime Minister Kurti declared the White House hostile, challenging the legal validity of the agreement and the legitimacy of the signature of the President of the United States of America. As we recall, the former Israeli Prime Minister, without being present at all at the meeting and involved in the negotiations, but only through a telephone communication with the American President confirmed the will of the US President respecting the agreement reached in the White House and they seem to have implemented it with the recognition of the state of Kosovo “, she wrote in a Facebook post.

She called the efforts to alienate Kosovo’s relationship with the US dangerous actions.

Attempts to antagonize Kosovo’s relationship with the United States by fabricating “map knives” and devaluing the White House to mediate an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia are dangerous actions that require a social response. “The United States of America is the only guarantee that the people of Kosovo trust!”, Concluded Deliu-Kodra./Zeri
