Pop star Rita Ora, 30, has given a rare glimpse into her relationship with director Taika Waititi, 46.

Speaking to Australian Vogue magazine this month, Rita said she is in a ‘wonderful place’ in her life when asked about the new romance.

“I am in a wonderful place in my life, that’s all I will say about it,” said the ‘Style Icon’, writes DailyMail.

Rita, who has been in a love affair with Calvin Harry before splitting in 2014, also explained that she had learned a lot about romances during previous relationships.

“I just think, with respect, privacy is very important, I learned a lot in my 20s.”

The blonde confession comes after a romantic night spent together in Los Angeles, with an amazing view, the couple could not take their hands and eyes off each other while they were with some friends in Los Feliz.

Rita and the New Zealand-born director were first photographed in Australia as the artist was filming for The Voice.

Ora and Waititi made the connection public at the premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under at the Sydney Opera House.

The Albanian singer meanwhile broke up with French director Romain Gavras earlier this year.

Silence for the return of Kosovars from Syria

About 100 Kosovars continue to remain in Syria and Iraq. According to the latest data from the Kosovo Police, there are mostly children there.

In a written response to Radio Free Europe, the Kosovo Police said that according to the latest data in their possession, there are still 96 Kosovars in the conflict zone, of which 43 men, nine women and 44 children, (including 32 children born in the conflict zone by at least one Kosovar parent). Meanwhile, the Atlantic Initiative from Sarajevo says that 97 people from Kosovo continue to be in the conflict zones, while 400 in total from the Western Balkans.

In April 2019, Kosovo institutions, assisted by US authorities, repatriated a group of 110 Kosovars, including four foreign fighters, 32 women and 74 children.

But for the remaining group in Syria, Kosovo institutions have not yet provided any information on whether work is underway for their repatriation.

Speaking at the meeting of the Global Coalition against the militant group, Islamic State, Kosovo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, said that Kosovo has been committed to the reintegration of returnees from Syria.

“We are taking special care of women and their children. We must do everything we can to return them to a normal life, to hope for a happy future for them “, declared Minister Gërvalla.

Gërvalla said that the process of reintegration of returnees has been successful and that programs for deradicalization have been created.

“We have not only managed to get the children back to school, but we also provide psychological support for them and their mothers. “Furthermore, we have created programs for deradicalization, which include even people who are in custody,” she said.

In this meeting of the Global Coalition against IS held in Rome, Italy, Minister Gërvalla did not speak about the 96 Kosovars who continue to be in Syria.

Since Kosovars began joining the war in Syria and Iraq in 2013, Kosovo Police have said they have arrested about 20 people for terrorism-related offenses.

Since the start of the war in Syria in March 2011, about 400 Kosovars have traveled to Syria and Iraq.

Sot heshtje zgjedhore, nesër shqiptarët zgjedhin qeverinë e re

The election campaign for the April 15 parliamentary elections ended on Friday at 24:00, while today the election silence has entered into force, which will last until the official closing of voting. No election campaign is allowed through the media, as well as the holding of rallies or other election activities of parties or candidates.

The Central Election Commission has announced that the necessary preparations have been made for the organization of free parliamentary elections, guaranteeing a speedy, transparent, secure and trouble-free process.

In the April 25 elections, 1,841 candidates are running for MPs, 39.76% of whom are women. There are 3,588,869 Albanian citizens with the right to vote in these elections, while 107,024 young people will vote for the first time.

Also, the State Police guaranteed the taking of measures for the smooth running of the electoral process, reports ATSh.

On Sunday, April 25, Albanians will go to the polls to elect a new government for the next four years. The Socialist Party is seeking a third term, while the opposition is seeking a return to power after 8 years in opposition.

In these elections, several new parties have entered the race, such as Nisma Thurje, Jozefina Topalli’s Movement for Change and Astrit Patoz’s Democratic Obedience, as well as independent candidates supported by Vetëvendosje Movement.

With the new amendments to the Electoral Code, in these elections the voter has the right to choose not only the party, but also the candidate he prefers.

This year’s parliamentary elections take place in pandemic conditions, where every voter will be subject to a strict protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19, where wearing a mask and distance are mandatory.

The campaign also had moments of tension, where unfortunately in Elbasan another victim was marked as a result of political clashes.

While the electoral meetings of the majority focused on rhetoric against the opponent, the opposition approached the electorate with a concrete program. While President Ilir Meta during this campaign toughened the tones towards the government, without sparing the ambassadors.

Representatives of diplomatic missions in Albania throughout the months of the election campaign, have called on citizens to exercise their right to vote.
