The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that the party he represents is democratic, and welcomes young people.
However, he stated in Rubikon that the LDK also closes its doors to those who have nothing to give to this subject, reports Klankosova.tv.
“Despite the actions of the government, we have to build our alternative model.”
“What is the new LDK, I say new to the leadership I represent. A proactive LDK in political thought, which recognizes its own mistakes, which opens the door to young people, which promotes the best internal figures it has and which holds the government accountable for their political actions that are detrimental to citizens ”.
Rubicon: And who closes their doors to some people who have had power in the LDK?
“Naturally!”
“I do not believe we should continue the fourth decade of the LDK, with people who have nothing to give to the LDK.”
Rubicon: Agim Veliu does not agree with the way he left?
“I understand people who do not agree with the LDK reform, but it is a reform on a platform.”
“For this platform I have received the support of the LDK. Those who feel like traveling this route are welcome. “But the others will not have a place and can not have a place in a journey in which they do not trust.”
“Before there can be participation, there must be conviction and trust. But reform must happen and happen without compromise. “Ekrem Hyseni is a candidate elected by the LDK leadership, and is the future of the LDK in Podujeva.”
While when asked if Agim Veliu had an impact on the loss of LDK in Podujeva, Abdixhiku did not comment at length, but said that for these decisions in LDK, there is no turning back.
“We will improve next time to bring Podujeva back. For me it has been a region of interest. “But all the LDK people who are dissatisfied must understand that the train does not turn back.”
“The LDK has enough people within its structures.”
