Driton Salihu was fired this Tuesday from the position of Director of the Health House in Presevo.
He said that this decision against him is discriminatory and political.
“The document I received from the Ministry of Health has no reason why I was fired, it just states that I will not be the director of the Health House. There is no reason that has been mentioned why I am no longer a director. “The municipality of Presevo is in the top five municipalities in terms of vaccination against COVID-19 in all of Serbia – it is among the first municipalities to vaccinate people over 65 years”, said Salihu, reports Klan Kosova.
He said that he had another year until the expiration of his four-year term at the head of the highest health institution in Presevo.
“My contract expired on April 25, 2022. This decision has no right to appeal. It’s powerful. “
“We did not have any problems, all the staff have a work decision. We expect from institutions in Kosovo and Albania due to pure discrimination. “There is no other reason.”
