The Mayor of Prishtina, Shpend Ahmeti announced that the Germia Park has been temporarily closed. To what extent, according to Ahmeti, came the decision due to the avoidance of potential danger, after the Police informed that a Bear was noticed inside the park.
“Germia Park is temporarily closed. Dear citizens, we have decided to close Germia Park, in order to avoid potential danger. As you have been informed, today during the afternoon we received an information from the Kosovo Police that a Bear has been spotted. “The bear is not part of the ‘Bear Park,'” he said.
Ahmeti emphasized that in order to avoid any danger, Germia Park will be closed to citizens, until another announcement.
“We appeal to respect this decision and not to visit Germia Park for your safety”, he concluded.
