The mayor of Gjilan, Lutfi Haziri said that one year with the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the lives of all citizens.
Through a Facebook post, Haziri stressed that this year was marked by solidarity.
“A year of confrontation and war with the unknown in Gjilan. It changed our lives, by wearing masks, social distance and complementary hygiene. This year was marked by solidarity, support, and food and hygiene packages. It was patrolled by doctors, nurses, police officers, municipal inspectors and civil emergencies. “Thank you to the point of humiliation,” he wrote.
Haziri also says he wishes you a speedy recovery for those infected with COVID-19.
“I wish a cure for every infected person and to continue until the vaccination for our municipality without COVID-19. This day is the Day of 113 fellow citizens who lost the battle with the virus. They will be missing. May their souls make light for Us! ”, Said Haziri./Zeri
