The Assembly of Kosovo, on Thursday, May 20 at 10:00 will convene in a regular plenary session.

This is what the Presidency of the Assembly decided today, in the joint meeting with the chairmen of the parliamentary groups, chaired by the Speaker of the Assembly Glauk Konjufca.

In Thursday’s session, after statements off the agenda and parliamentary questions, there will be an interpellation with the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, regarding the allowances of pensioners, health staff and security institutions.

Following the interpellation, the Presidency placed on the agenda the proposal of the People’s Advocate together with the recommendations of the Committee on Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions regarding the election of 5 Deputy People’s Advocates.

The Presidency also introduced as an agenda item in the session the vote on the composition of the Committee on the Rights and Interests of Communities and Returns.

While the Presidency decided that the parliamentary debate regarding the organization of education at all levels in the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, a point that was not discussed in the May 6 session due to lack of initiator, as well as the parliamentary debate on the economic situation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, move to another date.

In today’s meeting, the Presidency also processed for the Government the Draft Law on amending the Law no. 05 / L-132 on Vehicles. Also approved the expenditure report of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo for 2020 and the expenditure report of the Assembly for the first quarter of 2021, in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Budget, Labor and Transfers.

The Presidency also considered other issues related to the scope of the Assembly. / Voice
