Armed robbers raided a jewelry store in Paris’ affluent Place Vendome on Tuesday and fled with accessories worth 10m euros.
The robbers, dressed in black suits and armed with firearms, targeted the recently restored “Bvlgari” boutique in the square in the center of Paris, where the famous “Ritz” hotel is located.
Three of the perpetrators of the robbery left the scene in a vehicle, while 4 accomplices fled on motorcycles.
Forced to abandon the car, the first trio continued to walk away before being arrested by police.
During the escape, they were forced to leave behind a piece of stolen jewelry. Meanwhile, the other 4 authors are still at large.
Jewelry stores in Paris have fallen prey to a series of armed robberies in recent months. In July, another luxury store near the Champs Elysees was robbed of expensive accessories worth 2 million euros.
Based on these episodes, but also on terrorism with Islamic background, crime and security.
