During the last 24 hours, Kosovo has registered 36 victims of COVID-19.
The mayor of Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti has reacted harshly demanding strict short-term measures in order to slow down COVID infection, and start mass vaccination to speed up protection against the COVID-19 virus.
“The difference between Kosovo and other countries with a similar number of infections is the percentage of vaccination. Strict short-term measures to slow down the infection and mass vaccination to speed up protection. There is no other way,” said Ahmeti’s reaction.
His full reaction:
36 – thirty-six. Fingers point later. Vaccination is our weakness. The difference between Kosovo and other countries with a similar number of infections is the percentage of vaccination.
None of the victims was fully vaccinated. But we still do not have enough vaccines, and we do not have enough will to be vaccinated. Leave the dialogue, visit everywhere in the friends who give us vaccines – Turkey e
Israel and any country that helps us.
