Serbia will pay its citizens to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, in a bid to speed up the vaccination campaign.

President Aleksandar Vucic, while announcing the plan, said that economic growth depends on vaccinating the population.

Under the incentive program, the Government will pay 3,000 dinars ($ 30) to anyone who receives at least one dose of the vaccine by the end of May.
