Virus explodes in the capital: Covid-19 case record in Pristina

Prishtina continues to have a high number of cases with Covid-19.

In the capital alone in the last 24 hours 341 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered.

During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 3,892 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 752 positive cases result.

Within 24 hours 14 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 5 cases (83, 73, 72, 68, 57 years old), Gjakova 2 cases (73, 72 years old), Ferizaj 1 case (81 years old), Gjilan 1 case (67 years old), Mitrovica 1 case (69 years old), Peja 1 case (77 years old), Prizren 1 case (58 years old), Shtime 1 case (57 years old) and Vushtrri 1 case (66 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 89,507 cases out of 422,380 suspects in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,858 deaths.

During the last 24 hours, 665 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is a total of 73,983 cases, while the number of active cases is 13,666.

Positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 341 cases, Ferizaj 53 cases, Kamenica 38 cases, Gjilan 36 cases, Prizren 33 cases, Vushtrri 31 cases, Fushë-Kosovë 21 cases, Peja 21 cases, Gjakova 18 cases, Obiliq 17 cases, Kaçanik 16 cases, Istog 15 cases, Klina 14 cases, Year 14 cases, Podujeva 13 cases, Suhareka 13 cases, Gracanica 10 cases, Skenderaj 10 cases, Drenas 8 cases, Deçan 7 cases, Malisheva 7 cases, Hani i Elezit 3 cases, Lipjan 3 cases, Rahovec 3 cases, Shtime 3 cases, Mitrovica 2 cases and with one case each the municipalities of Dragash and Junik.
