Dutch authorities seized three tonnes of cocaine this Saturday.
The quantity of drugs was found inside a container with bananas in the port of Rotterdam. The cocaine was shipped from Ecuador and as the final destination, it is suspected that it had Basel, Switzerland. This operation is considered one of the largest ever carried out by this port.
It is worth mentioning that even in March, the port officials confiscated 4 tons of drugs hidden in a container, even then, the departure was made from Ecuador.
