The International Airport Union “Adem Jashari” has blamed the management company “Limak” for the congestion caused this Friday afternoon.
The president of this union, Bashkim Latifi, emphasizes that this commotion occurred due to the small number of employees and the lack of preparation of “Limak” for a large flow of flights, reports Klankosova.tv
“These riots and long waits were not caused by the fault of the workers and that the news about the cancellations are lies only to remove the fault from Limaku. “Limaku has entered flight seasons without being prepared even with a small number of workers due to the illegal departure of a large number of workers.”
“Let me explain to you as a workers’ representative that these riots and long waits were not caused by the fault of the workers and that the news about the cancellation of flights is a lie, just to remove the blame from ‘Limaku’. “‘Limaku’ has entered the flight season unprepared, even with a small number of workers due to the illegal departure of a large number of workers”, it is said in the announcement of the Union.
According to Latif, the reason for the long waits is the fact that there are only two employees in the “check-in” service.
“The reason for the expectations of passengers is the small number of workers, where only two employees in the check-in serve an airplane, which is extremely small, so the eventual delays that may be caused are precisely for these reasons.”
” Workers are overworked with canceled annual leave, who are working overworked and over 12 hours long. “The small number of workers is loading / unloading dozens of tons of luggage in one shift.”
Among other things, the statement says that the Union had warned about such a thing earlier, but according to them, the Airport management ignored them.
