They do the impossible for us, they are heroes for many of us and such should be considered.

Together with my team, we visited the city emergency. The city emergency has 110 workers, of which 10 in the administration and 100 health workers. The emergency works in 5 shifts, in each shift there are 4 medical teams.

Together with the staff there we talked about their working conditions, about the difficulties and challenges they have every day and that are not few.

The young doctor Munzir Obaid came to the Pančevo hospital from the University Clinic in Qatar. He will be here for two weeks and together with our surgeons he will learn new treatment techniques that he will be able to apply in his country.

“I don’t have the opportunity to see open surgery in Qatar. Compared to the hospital I come from, this is a smaller institution and less equipped, but here I did open surgery with Dr. Minja for the first time as a chief surgeon. We work laparoscopically, and here I learn new methods, which I see for the first time, ”says Dr. Obaid.

He points out that everyone is kind, to help him and that he will return to Qatar with good impressions.

“Under my supervision, he operated on the open gallbladder for the first time. The operation went well and he did well, we will monitor the patient’s condition,” says Dr. Minja Stojanović, head of the surgery department at the General Hospital in Pancevo.

Doctor Mladen Janjić has already organized eight laparoscopic surgery workshops in Pancevo, in which numerous surgeons from all over the world participate.

Thanks to that, he gained the trust of the most famous professor in that field, Dr. Amjad Parvajs from Great Britain, who is now sending young doctors here for training.

“He received a recommendation that young doctors can learn a fair general surgery here. There is no young doctor at the clinic in London who does not know about Pancevo and Serbia, and we have had a good reputation there for years,” says Dr. Mladen Janjic, a surgeon.

Director Slobodan Ovuka reminded that the hospital in Pancevo is the only non-clinical institution that is a reference for the education of laparoscopic surgery.

“The stay of a doctor from Qatar, who will learn even more from that area, is a confirmation of the high reputation that our hospital has been carrying for years,” said Dr. Ovuka.

Thanks to the exchange of young doctors, our doctors also go to London for training, where they acquire new knowledge in well-known clinical centers.

One of the main commitments of the candidate of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo for mayor of Prishtina, Daut Haradinaj, is the one for the construction of the General Hospital of Prishtina. This commitment is being well received by the citizens of the capital and they are interested in hearing more.

Haradinaj, in his frequent appearances in the media, but also in conversations with citizens, said that the adequate location for this hospital would be the village of Llukar, in the barracks of the Kosovo Security Force, saying that property in this place is easy usable, the air is clean, and the new city ring road to be built by the Haradinaj government provides easy access to the hospital.

The construction of this hospital would affect the significant decline of patients seeking services in UCCK, thus giving a better space for services to UCCK for citizens from all over Kosovo.

Kosovo Police has arrested a person and is looking for a second person, on suspicion of killing an 18-year-old girl in Ferizaj.

A press release states that the police have launched an investigation into the case that occurred on Sunday around 15:08, where a female person was brought without signs of life by two suspects, to the Emergency Center in Ferizaj, who then had departed in an unknown direction.

Regional investigators, after gathering information on the ground, provided material evidence, through security cameras and statements, where they found the crime scene, which was committed in a residential building on a street in Ferizaj, and identified the two suspects. .

After that, the police managed to arrest the suspect with the initials AS (32), who after being interviewed by the police, with the decision of the Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj, he was detained for 48 hours, while the police is wanted the other suspect DK, 29 years old.

Meanwhile, the dead body is suspected to belong to the person with the initials MO (18), which was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Prishtina, for autopsy.

The case is considered aggravated murder and remains for further investigation procedure.

With the increase of new cases of COVID-19 in the country, the number of patients seeking medical help at the General Hospital “Isa Grezda” in Gjakova has increased.

The General Director of this hospital, Hilmi Shala, in the “Special Edition” in Klan Kosova said that in recent days the number of patients has increased as they are mobilized in all forms.

“As in all of Kosovo, in our municipality there is an increased influx of patients who are seeking medical help. “Today we have 48 hospitalized patients, of which 32 have tested positive for COVID-19.”
