The Parents' Council comes up with two requests for the NIPHK

The Kosovo Parents’ Council (KPC) continues to oppose warnings of school closures due to an increase in the number of infected in the country.

KPC has sent a letter with two requests to the National Institute of Health, where in one of them they have asked to send the last recommendation as NIPH to the Ministry of Education, while in the second request they have requested that in the daily statistics of the number total of those infected with COVID-19 in Kosovo, to be specified with two columns how many students-children aged 6 to 17 are infected with COVID-19 and how many teachers, reports Zeri.info.

Full request:

I am addressing you on behalf of the Kosovo Parents’ Council because it is being debated for the closure of Kosovo schools. Therefore, for us as KPC are important two requests that we ask you to fulfill as a competent body, which will give us help a lot:

1. Send us the latest recommendation as NIPH to MEST.

2. In the daily statistics of the total number of infected with covid 19 in Kosovo, specify in two sections how many students-children aged 6 to 17 are infected with covid 19 and how many teachers. This will help us to make a decision. right after we have accurate data and do not make the decision to unnecessarily harm students-education.

We hope to get an answer in time because the situation is urgent until the closing of schools for 2 weeks is being discussed!

Appreciating you for the contribution you give every day in the fight against the covid pandemic 19, we wish you health, long life and success.

More respect.
