The Municipal Inspectorate of Prishtina and the Ministry of Environment have launched a joint action to control the noise level in cafes in the capital.
All bars in the capital are being controlled by the Inspectorate and the Kosovo Police, where they are being warned to stop the volume of music after numerous complaints received from residents, mainly in the center but also in other neighborhoods that are frequented.
Also, today there will be no fines, but only warnings that in the coming days there will be even more such checks.
Meanwhile, there will be punishments only for those who will not respect this decision during today, while the action will continue every day and after every day and after every complaint of the citizens.
The fines that will be given in cases when this decision will not be respected will be from 500 to 1 thousand euros, depending on the type of violation.
