The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen has published a photo, where she announces that today she received the first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine.
In a Twitter post, von der Leyen did not say which vaccine he received, but said that the sooner the vaccine is given, the sooner the pandemic will be under control.
“After passing 100 million vaccinations in the European Union, I am happy that today I received the first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine. Vaccinations will continue at a faster pace, while deliveries with the necessary doses are also increasing. “The sooner we are vaccinated, the sooner we will have control of the pandemic,” the EC president wrote on Twitter. / Voice
After we passed 100 million vaccinations in the EU, I’m very glad I got my first shot of #COVID19 vaccine today.
Vaccinations will further gather pace, as deliveries are accelerating in the EU.
The swifter we vaccinate, the sooner we can control the pandemic. #StrongerTogether pic.twitter.com/ZmbjlmFOn4
