A positive case of coronavirus has been registered in FC Prishtina’s opponent in the Conference League, Connah’s Quay Nomads, writes Zeri.info.
This was announced by the Welsh club through an announcement on the official website.
“Before Tuesday’s match against Pristina, we can confirm that the club has received a positive result from Sunday’s tests by UEFA.
Prior to the trip to Kosovo, the club conducted an investigation into close contacts with the positive case and identified a player who should also be isolated despite being negative.
“Of course the club and the missing players are disappointed, however there is a protocol to provide security and well-being to all involved.”
“On a positive note, the club can confirm that the club’s captain, George Horan, and the recent re-transfer, Tom Bibby, have traveled with the team.”
Recall that Prishtina and Connah’s Quay Nomad tomorrow (Tuesday) hold the first match of the second qualifying round.
This match takes place from 18:00 at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium. /Zeri.info
