The Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, has congratulated the President, Vjosa Osmani, for the new post of head of state.
“Congratulations to Vjosa Osmani for her election as President. This is a success for democracy and democrats in Kosovo. “Now the government can continue to address the challenges facing Kosovo, starting with the pandemic,” he wrote on Facebook.
Osmani was elected president of the country on Sunday with 71 votes in the third round of voting.
