Ahmeti reacts to the Monastery of Deçan for the accusations that he initiated the actions in the church building
The mayor of Prishtina, Shpend Ahmeti, has denied the allegations made on the Twitter account of the Monastery of Deçan that he initiated the actions made today and yesterday in the building of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
“It simply came to our notice then. Why should you spread lies? ”Ahmeti wrote on Twitter, sharing the photo that contained the post of the Deçan Monastery account.
“According to the Kosovo Albanian media, the acts of vandalism in the Serbian Orthodox Church in the center of Pristina where blasphemous graffiti were done were committed by student activists encouraged by the mayor Shpend Ahmeti, a political associate of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Kurti”, it is said in the post.
