The last week of the winter season will be variable as a result of the relatively cold masses coming from the northwestern part of the continent.
We are expected to have decreases in the baric and thermal fields and as a result of these physical changes rain and snow are forecast. Snow mainly in areas above 800m above sea level, while in the lower areas rain and snow are forecast.
This unstable situation will continue until March 18 or 19, then over our country are expected clearings and slight increase in temperatures.
Minimum temperatures over the next five days are forecast to range between -3 to 3 degrees Celsius, while daytime maximums are forecast to range between 4 to 7 degrees Celsius.
Biometeorological conditions will not be good for a layer of the population that has chronic diseases, while traffic participants are advised to be extra careful. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the northwest, reports the Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute.
