Croatia has secured qualification to the quarterfinals of ‘Euro 2020’ after the victory over Scotland (3-1).
The Balkan team has collected four points after three rounds in Group D and thanks to the goal difference it is positioned better than the Czech Republic.
Assisted by Ivan Perisic, Nikola Vlasic unlocked the score after 17 minutes of play, however at the end of the first half (42 ‘), Callum McGregor equalized the figures.
In the second half, Luka Modric received a ball from Mateo Kovacic to score a beautiful goal that restored the lead of the Croatians (62 ‘).
Ivan Perisic scored the safety goal (77 ‘) thanks to an assist from Modric who secured Croatia’s qualification from second place thanks to the best goal difference.
The Czech Republic also qualified with four points, while Scotland was eliminated with only one point collected in Group D.
