One month detention was assigned by the Basic Court in Ferizaj to the suspect AB, who committed the criminal offense “Minor bodily injury”.
According to the Court, the suspect on March 2, 2021 in Ferizaj, after disputes he had with his wife threatened and injured her in their home.
“The Basic Court in Ferizaj, has approved the request of the Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj, for the imposition of detention on remand against the defendant AB. citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, due to reasonable suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense of light bodily injury under Article 185 paragraph 1 and the criminal offense of threatening under Article 181 paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK). After holding the hearing and after analyzing the case file, the pre-trial judge of the Criminal Division – Habib Zeqiri, has confirmed that there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant on March 2, 2021 in Ferizaj, in their home, after disputes preliminary, has now threatened and injured the injured his wife. The pre-trial judge approved the request of the state prosecutor for the imposition of detention on remand against the defendant as grounded in accordance with the provisions of the PCPCK and they were remanded in custody for a period of one (1) month. ” , it is stated in the notification of the Court. / Voice
