The Foreign Ministers of the European Union meet in Luxembourg. Part of the discussions will be the situation in Belarus until the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The EU is expected to announce travel restrictions and asset freezes for 86 Belarusian citizens and companies. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell will brief the ministers of the 27 member states on the details of the meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Although it was announced last month that there would be discussions on the Western Balkans region at the foreign ministers’ meeting, this is not expected to happen as there have been no changes that could create room for a successful debate.
On Tuesday, however, the enlargement process will be discussed at a meeting of the EU General Affairs Council, but without any important decision./a2cnn
