The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has announced that France will expand access to its coronavirus vaccination program.
In France so far only people over the age of 55 and those with concomitant diseases have had the right to be vaccinated. Whereas, from May 12, all citizens regardless of age have the right to apply for vaccination.
According to the latest data from the French authorities, almost 17 million people have received the first dose of vaccines against COVID-19 since Tuesday, while 7.5 million citizens have received two doses of vaccines.
France has authorized four vaccines for use: Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson, writes BBC, reports Klan Kosova.
