Zlatibor expects 30,000 tourists to meet

All hotels and most of the private accommodation on Zlatibor were sold out in four days of holidays on the occasion of the Statehood Day, on February 15.

The director of the Zlatibor Tourist Organization, Vladan Zivanovic, told Tanjug that 30,000 tourists will spend their mini vacation on this mountain.

– There are no vacancies in hotels. More beds are needed in private accommodation. The situation is similar to that for the New Year’s holidays. And if there is no new snowfall, the ski resort on Tornik is working, because the temperatures are very low, which enables artificial snow – says Zivanovic.

He notes that Zlatibor is a safe destination for the holidays, because hoteliers and caterers respect all epidemiological measures.

– All caterers adhere to the measures prescribed by the Ministry of Health and the Crisis Staff in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and everything works in the best possible way – Zivanovic points out.
