Milan has started the new edition of Serie A with a victory, after beating Udinese on the trip with a result of 1-0.
After just nine minutes of play, Brahim Diaz received an assist from Davide Calabria to put the ball in the net.
A golden opportunity came after Sampdorian, but Manolo Gabbiadini failed to put the ball in the net after a free kick, Mike Maignan made a spectacular save.
Rade Krunic (26 ‘) also failed to score from distance, with the ball ending up on goal.
In the second half, there was more of a game focused on midfield and the teams failed to create serious chances.
The best chance in the second 45 minutes was that of Gabbiadin, who in the 52nd minute released a powerful shot, but again Maignan was attentive.
Milan increased to maintain this result, gaining three points in the first round.
The Rossoneri are currently in eighth place due to the weakest goal difference, while in the second week they will have work with Cagliari.
