The number of Kosovo citizens who are fully immunized against the coronavirus has increased.
To date, over 500 thousand citizens of the Republic of Kosovo have been vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine.
“Kosovo, which has recently started the vaccination process in the region, thanks to mass vaccination, especially during August and September, has now left behind four countries of the Western Balkans, in terms of the percentage of vaccinated population,” the government announced.
Through a Facebook post, the Government website says that during September over 400 thousand appointments for vaccination were reserved.
“For this, the credit goes to the vaccination teams, management teams, the immunization committee and the citizens of the Republic who have responded positively to our calls and those of health experts.”
The government has asked citizens to set appointments for vaccination every day of the week.
“Vaccination is continuing. Every day of the week, including weekends.
Therefore, make your appointment, for yourself and your family “, it is said in the announcement.
Despite the decline in new cases of infection, the number of deaths from coronavirus in Kosovo continues to be high.
During the last 24 hours in our country 5 citizens have lost their lives, while about 40 others are intubated in serious health condition./Telegrafi/
